In a workshop for manufacturing of plastic parts, a varnishing line is a very powerful noise source potentially causing sound nuisance for the personnel operating in the vicinity (in production halls) and sometimes also for the neighborhood. It is often necessary to use in such cases a high-tech soundproofing equipment to ensure the conformity of the facility with respect to the legislation on noise in workplaces and sometimes also with respect to the regulations in terms of fight against domestic noise.
ITS will participate in the construction of a soundproofing device for workplaces for a varnishing line near Lyon in the county of Rhône in the region Rhône-Alpes (France).
This soundproofing device for workplaces will offer a sound reduction particularly important at medium and high frequency where the maximum of the noise emission of the enclosed noisy equipments is, requiring a specific design and a specific construction of the partitions.
Related features such as visibility for the operation of the machines, access for maintenance work, disassembly of some subsets of the soundproofing equipments ... will be integrated according to the needs for this soundproofing device for a varnishing line.
The soundproofing device for this varnishing line will be a metal enclosure, made of a frame and of industrial soundproofing panels, being dismountable, made of steel, with a mineral wool lining with a high density protected by a perforated sheet. Such an acoustic protection will thus oppose the propagation of noise while limiting the amplification of sound levels inside the enclosure. Acoustic door-sets, also metallic, will allow access for the maintenance of production equipment and will be equipped with portholes with laminated glazing: in the event of breakage of the glazing, a central frame will provide residual protection before replacement.
If the Customer wishes, this construction can be painted with his colors (if not, he will find his happiness among a wide range of colors to choose from the RAL color chart).
With such a soundproofing device for workplaces, this varnising line will have sufficiently low noise emissions so that the noise exposure of the operators in charge of driving the machine will be below the limits triggering the action (*).
* daily noise exposure levels exceeding 80 dB (A) and / or a peak sound pressure level above 135 dB (C) would be above the action limit at meaning of the Decree nbr 2006-892 of July 19, 2006 relating to the safety and health prescriptions applicable in the event of exposure of the workers to the risks due to the noise and modifying the work code which transposes into French law the directive 2003/10/CE.
